CamingoDos is a highly legible, modern sans serif type family. It comes in a wide range of seven weights and three widths. Its rich set of expert typographic features like small caps, ligatures, different figure sets and alternative glyphs makes CamingoDos an ideal solution for editorial and corporate design.
I designed CamingoDos Condensed to achieve a more powerful impact for the use in headlines. The compact appearance and the tight letter spacing makes it appropriate for display settings on a limited space.
The image on the left shows CamingoDos Condensed layered over the non-condensed Camingo version. While the stroke weights are nearly similar, CamingoDos Condensed has a considerably reduced whitespace. The lowercase height is slightly bigger, which accentuates the condensed impression even more.
During the development i took special care that CamingoDos Condensed can be used side by side with their non-condensed companions. Therefore all Camingo versions have the same set of glyphs.
